Description: The Sou’wester and Family Reunion were designed in tandem and may be displayed together, with The Sou’wester serving as the field pattern, and Family Reunion as the accent. They were inspired by the stormy sea, and by the expression and gravity of a good luck charm - especially charms kept on long sea voyages of yore, such as the whale ship voyages that informed Moby Dick, among others. The Sou‘wester is also named for a stormy hotel on the Washington Coast by the same name.
